| AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1 on page 8, by |

| inserting below line 12 the following:

| "(h) Any political committee that has received a |
| 5 |
| contribution in violation of subsection (f) shall pay an amount |
| 6 |
| equal to the value of the contribution to the State no more |
| 7 |
| than 30 days after notice of the violation concerning the |
| 8 |
| contribution appears in the Illinois Register. Payments |
| 9 |
| received by the State pursuant to this subsection shall be |
| 10 |
| deposited into the general revenue fund.".
