Provides that the court may impose an extended term sentence when a defendant is convicted of a violation of Section 12-6 (intimidation), 31-4 (communicating with jurors and witnesses), or 32-4a (harassment of representatives for the child, jurors, witnesses and others) of the Criminal Code of 1961, and that offense was in furtherance or concealment of (or the testimony, proceeding, or act related to the defendant's commission of) a sex offense as defined in subsection (B) of Section 2 of the Sex Offender Registration Act for which the defendant was convicted and the victim of which was under 18 years of age at the time of the sex offense.
