<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>625 ILCS 5/11-501</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-501</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a person is in violation of the DUI statute if he or she is driving while under the influence of an intoxicating compound, of any other drug or drugs, or of any combination of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating compounds, to a degree that his or her mental or physical faculties are so impaired as to reduce his or her ability to think and act with ordinary care (rather than to a degree that renders the person incapable of driving safely).</SynopsisText></synopsis>
