<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>730 ILCS 5/5-5-3</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 38, par. 1005-5-3</aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that when a defendant is convicted of battery or aggravated battery, the defendant shall undergo medical testing to determine whether the defendant has any sexually transmissible disease, including a test for infection with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or any other identified causative agent of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Provides that the court may order disclosure to a State's Attorney of the results of the test if the State's Attorney shows that it is relevant in order to prosecute any offense in which the exchange of bodily fluids occurs. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
