<reference>225 ILCS 10/3</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 23, par. 2213</aliasreference><reference>225 ILCS 10/5.7 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Child Care Act of 1969. Requires every day care center, part day child care facility, day care home, and group day care home to annually conduct a minimum of 2 day care evacuation drills to address and prepare children enrolled in the day care facility and day care staff for fire incidents. Provides that the drills shall be conducted in a manner prescribed by the Department of Children and Family services and that the days on which the drills are planned and subsequently carried out must be reported to the Department in a timely manner, as determined by the Department.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Child Care Act of 1969. Requires every day care center, part day child care facility, day care home, and group day care home to prepare and follow written plans for immediate response in case of emergency. Provides for evacuation plans and fire and tornado drills. Requires records to be maintained concerning the dates and times that the required drills are conducted. <reftype>Adds reference to:</reftype><reference>210 ILCS 85/4.5</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Hospital Licensing Act. Provides that a hospital located in a county with 3,000,000 or more inhabitants may apply to the Department of Public Health for approval to conduct its operations from more than one location within the county under a single license if the distance between each location to be combined under one license is no more than one mile.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
