<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>725 ILCS 5/112A-17.5 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>750 ILCS 60/217.5 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 and the Illinois Domestic Violence Act of 1986. Provides that in each Act, a circuit court clerk shall inform a person who petitions for an emergency order of protection concerning notification of the service of the emergency order of protection. Provides that the petitioner is notified that service of the emergency order was completed if the petitioner has registered a telephone number with the State's victim notification system. Provides that the law enforcement agency responsible for serving an emergency order of protection shall record the service of the order into a law enforcement database, or similar electronic record keeping system, at the time service occurs. Provides that these provisions apply only to those circuit court clerks able to access the State's victim notification system.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
