<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>730 ILCS 5/5-5-3.2</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 38, par. 1005-5-3.2</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that the court may impose an extended term sentence upon any offender who was convicted of aggravated criminal sexual assault or predatory criminal sexual assault of a child (rather than aggravated criminal sexual assault or predatory criminal sexual assault of a child in which the accused was 17 years of age or over and committed an act of sexual penetration with a victim who was under 13 years of age when the act was committed) where the victim was under 18 years of age at the time of the commission of the offense.
