<reference>625 ILCS 5/11-1426.1</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText> Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Permits the operation of a neighborhood vehicle on streets where the posted speed limit is 35 miles per hour or less, subject to specified requirements, but allows a municipality, township, county, or other unit of local government to impose any additional restrictions on the operation of neighborhood vehicles on roadways under its jurisdiction that the unit of local government deems appropriate for the public safety. Makes other changes.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>Provides that restrictions on the use of neighborhood vehicles do not prohibit them from crossing at an intersection with a highway, road, or street (rather than a road or street) that has a posted speed limit of more than 35 miles per hour (and deletes language that allowed neighborhood vehicles to cross at an intersection with a highway only under specified conditions).</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Amendment No. 2</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code.
