<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>215 ILCS 5/144.3 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Provides that notwithstanding any other statutory provision or common law rule, any insurance company subject to regulation under the Code and any of its agents, servants, or employees are not liable and no cause of action arises with respect to any accident or injury based on the allegation that the accident or injury was caused, directly or indirectly, or could have been prevented by, a program, information, inspection, or other activity or service undertaken by an insurance provider for the prevention of accidents, control of losses, or improvement of health and welfare in connection with operations of the insured. Provides that this immunity does not affect the liability of an insurance provider otherwise provided by an insurance policy or plan. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
