Allows a person whose employment under the Article was terminated, but he or she was reemployed by any department under the Article within 6 months after that termination, to establish creditable service for the period during which he or she was terminated, provided that he or she applies within 6 months after the effective date of the amendatory Act. Includes language concerning new benefit increases.
