<reference>410 ILCS 82/35</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Smoke Free Illinois Act. Provides that smoking is allowed in Veterans' halls and clubs. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
<reftype>Adds reference to:</reftype><reference>410 ILCS 82/10</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Smoke Free Illinois Act. Defines "Veterans' hall or club". Provides that smoking is allowed in a Veterans' hall or club, provided at least half of its members have requested in writing that the Veterans' hall or club designate areas for smoking. Provides that there is no rulemaking authority under the amendatory Act, but that the Governor may suggest rules by filing them with the General Assembly and requesting that the General Assembly authorize such rulemaking by law, enact the suggested rules into law, or take other appropriate action in the General Assembly's discretion.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
