<reference>510 ILCS 45/7</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 8, par. 907</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Carrier, Racing, Hobby, and Show Pigeon Act of 1993. Provides that a municipality with fewer than 140,000 inhabitants (instead of a municipality located in a county with fewer than 3,000,000 inhabitants) shall not enact an ordinance which prohibits the orderly keeping of carrier pigeons, hobby, or show pigeons. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Carrier, Racing, Hobby, and Show Pigeon Act of 1993. Authorizes municipalities to regulate, but not prohibit, the orderly keeping of carrier, racing, hobby, and show pigeons and to prohibit or regulate the housing and keeping of pigeons other than carrier, racing, hobby, or show pigeons (now, a municipality located in Cook County may prohibit or regulate the orderly keeping of carrier, racing, hobby, or show pigeons). Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
