Provides that, subject to appropriation, the Department shall administer a Condemned Housing Remediation Program. Provides that the Director shall make grants to municipalities for the purpose of demolishing condemned housing. Defines "condemned housing". Effective July 1, 2007.House Amendment No. 1 Deletes reference to:20 ILCS 605/605-960 newAdds reference to:415 ILCS 5/22.15aReplaces the title and everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Provides that the open dumping cleanup program includes removal actions with respect to structures or vacant properties condemned by units of local government. Effective immediately.Fiscal Note, House Amendment No. 1 (Illinois Environmental Protection Agency) HB 1467 (H-AM 1) would have a significant negative impact on Agency resources dedicated to the existing open dump cleanup program.
