<reference>105 ILCS 230/5-30</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the School Construction Law. With respect to the priority of school construction projects, in the 2nd priority concerning projects designed to alleviate a shortage of classrooms due to population growth or to replace aging school buildings, adds an exception for those schools designated as or determined to be historically or architecturally significant. Adds, as part of the 4th priority, rehabilitation of school facilities determined to be severe and continuing health or life safety hazards. Effective January 1, 2008.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
