<reference>New Act</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>225 ILCS 41/15-7 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Creates the Health Care Practitioner Profile Act. Requires the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to make available to the public a profile of each health care practitioner licensed under Illinois law. Requires the Department to make the profile available through an Internet web site and, if requested, in writing. Sets forth that information which must be contained within the profile. Provides that, prior to release to the public, a practitioner shall be provided with a copy of his or her individual profile, shall have 60 days to correct any factual inaccuracies that may appear in the profile, and may elect to omit certain information from the profile. Grants rulemaking authority to the Department. Amends the Funeral Directors and Embalmers Licensing Code to require the Department to make available to the public a profile of each funeral director licensed under the Act.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>

<SynopsisText>Removes physician or health care practitioner organizations and associations, networks, joint ventures, and all other combinations of those organizations from the definition of "health care facility" and excludes physician's or health care practitioner's offices from the definition. Provides that in addition to other required information, each health care practitioner profile shall contain the names of professional or graduate (instead of medical) schools attended; graduate health care-related education (instead of graduate medical or other health care-related education); and appointments to graduate program faculties (instead of medical school or graduate program faculties).</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>Fiscal Note, House Amendment No. 1 (Financial &amp; Professional Regulation)</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>HB 477 (H-AM 1) has a FY08 fiscal impact of $703,400.00 to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. It will require the hiring of one program administrator (Executive I) and five Office Associates. This legislation will have an initial, first year, set up cost of approximately $300,000 to develop the proposed on-line Health Care Practitioner Website and database. </SynopsisText><synopsistitle>Fiscal Note, House Amendment No. 2 (Financial &amp; Professional Regulation)</synopsistitle>
