<reference>625 ILCS 5/6-906</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 6-906</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Driver's License Medical Review Law of the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a person has a right to a hearing (rather than a right to request a hearing) before the Secretary of State if the person has used all possible review by the Driver's License Medical Advisory Board and the person's driver's license has been restricted, canceled, or denied. Provides that the person has the right to be present when the hearing is conducted. Provides that the Secretary of State shall prescribe procedures to be followed at a hearing in the presence of the person whose driver's license has been restricted, canceled, or denied. Provides that, if a person contests the findings, determination, and recommendation of the Driver's License Medical Advisory Board with regard to the scope of his or her driving privileges, he or she has a right to a hearing on the issue and to be present when the hearing is conducted, but only if he or she has utilized all possible review by the Board under the Code or any rules adopted by the Secretary of State. Provides that the person must file a written request for a hearing. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
