Provides that the assessment and referral shall be made to a provider who is able to accept the person for referral and perform a further assessment within a clinically appropriate time.House Amendment No. 1 Provides that referral (instead of assessment and referral) of persons by the Department shall be made to providers who are able to accept the persons and perform an assessment within an appropriate time.
