AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1698

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1698, on page 4, by 
3
replacing lines 1 through 6 with the following:
4
    ""Health care professional" means  a physician licensed to 
5
practice medicine in all of its branches under the Illinois 
6
Medical Practice Act of 1987 or a clinical psychologist 
7
licensed under the Clinical Psychologist Licensing Act."; and
 
8
on page 4, line 8, by replacing "qualified" with "health care"; 
9
and 
 
10
on page 5, line 13, after "research", by inserting "and 
11
complies with the Illinois Health Statistics Act"; and 

 
12
on page 5, line 14, after "individual", by inserting "or health 
13
care professional"; and


 
14
on page 5, line 15, after "public.", by inserting "This data 
15
shall be subject to the provisions of the Communicable Disease 
16
Report Act."; and 
 
17
on page 5, immediately below line 18, by inserting the 
18
following:

    "(f) Any person making a report under this Act shall have 
20
immunity from any liability, civil or criminal, that may result 
21
by reason of making the report, except for willful or wanton

on page 6, line 18, after "State.", by inserting "This Act

shall be subject to appropriation.".
