| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 929

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 929, AS AMENDED, |

| with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No. |
| 4 |
| 2 on page 9, line 19, after the period, by inserting the |
| 5 |
| following: |
| 6 |
| "Each group shall submit the name of its representative to the |
| 7 |
| Director."; and
|
| 8 |
| on page 9, by replacing lines 29 through 31 with the following: |
| 9 |
| "underground mine within 90 days after the equipment is |
| 10 |
| approved by the federal Mine Safety and Health Administration. |
| 11 |
| To the extent that any of these devices have already been |
| 12 |
| approved by the federal Mine Safety and Health Administration, |
| 13 |
| the operator shall provide the equipment in each underground |
| 14 |
| mine within 90 days after the effective date of this amendatory |
| 15 |
| Act of the 94th General Assembly.".
