<reference>70 ILCS 3610/4</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 111 2/3, par. 354</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Local Mass Transit District Act. Beginning with the general election in 2006, provides that the Board of Trustees for any Local Mass Transit District that is entirely within a county or that is coterminous with a county with a population of less than 250,000 and not contiguous to a county with a population of 500,000 or more shall consist of 7 elected trustees (now, the trustees are appointed by the county board). Makes corresponding changes. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
