Amends the Downstate Teacher Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Provides that provisions concerning the employer's contribution for salary increases in excess of 6% do not apply to salary increases as a result of the teacher (A) accepting academic classes for which course credit is received in addition to the number of classes the employer requires under its policy or by contract, if the employer certifies the reason the teacher was asked to accept additional classes, and (B) accepting summer classes.
