<reference>105 ILCS 5/34-2.1</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 122, par. 34-2.1</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the School Code with regard to the Chicago school district. Provides that no fingerprint images shall be required as part of the initial criminal background investigation conducted concerning incoming local school council members. Provides that these local school council members shall be required to submit their full name, sex, race, date of birth, and social security number. Provides that if the initial criminal background investigation indicates that the person has been convicted of committing or attempting to commit certain enumerated offenses, he or she shall be required to provide fingerprint images, and the Department of State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation shall furnish records of convictions, until expunged, to the president of the school board.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
