 1        AN ACT concerning animal welfare.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Animal Welfare Act is amended by changing
 5    Section 1 as follows:

 6        (225 ILCS 605/1) (from Ch. 8, par. 301)
 7        Sec. 1. This Act shall be known and may be cited  as  the
 8    Animal Welfare Act.
