<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>20 ILCS 2310/2310-338 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Subject to appropriations, requires the Department of Public Health to establish an asthma prevention and control program to provide leadership for and coordination of asthma prevention and intervention activities. Provides that the program may include monitoring of asthma prevalence, education and training of health care professionals, and other features. Requires the Department to consult with the Department of Public Aid and the State Board of Education, and seek advice from private entities, in implementing the program. Authorizes the Department of Public Health to accept federal moneys and to contract with outside vendors or individuals for the purpose of implementing the program.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
