<reference>720 ILCS 570/401</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 56 1/2, par. 1401</aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Illinois Controlled Substances Act. In the provisions prohibiting the possession of methamphetamine manufacturing chemicals with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine or salt of an optical isomer of methamphetamine or an analog of methamphetamine, eliminates the requirement of the intent to manufacture a specific amount of methamphetamine or salt of an optical isomer of methamphetamine or an analog of methamphetamine if the defendant possessed the specific amount of methamphetamine manufacturing chemicals.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
