<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>705 ILCS 35/4.4 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Circuit Courts Act. Provides that, in civil cases requiring a court interpreter, the court may order the non-prevailing party to pay the reasonable fees and expenses of the court interpreter. Provides that, in a criminal case requiring a court interpreter in which the defendant is found guilty of the charges brought against him or her, the circuit court may order the defendant to pay the reasonable fees and expenses of the court interpreter. Allows the circuit court the ability to adjust unreasonable fees and expenses of a court interpreter.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
