Provides that any motor vehicle subject to the mandatory insurance requirements of the Code must display on its rear license plate a sticker indicating that the vehicle is covered by liability insurance and the month and year through which coverage has been purchased. Provides that an insurer must provide an insurance sticker for each vehicle insured under its policy. Provides that the insurer may not issue a similar sticker with any policy that does not provide the coverage required by the Code. Provides that the Secretary of State shall adopt rules providing that, if the Secretary issues a new license plate for a vehicle, and the insurance sticker for that vehicle has not expired, the insurer must issue a new sticker for that vehicle. Provides that the Secretary shall prescribe the form and content of the sticker.
