<reference>15 ILCS 20/50-5</reference><aliasreference>was 15 ILCS 20/38</aliasreference><reference>15 ILCS 20/50-5.5 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>25 ILCS 155/4</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 63, par. 344</aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the State Budget Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois and the Illinois Economic and Fiscal Commission Act. Creates a Revenue Estimating Council consisting of the State Comptroller and the Directors of the Bureau of the Budget and the Economic and Fiscal Commission. Beginning in 2005, requires the Council to estimate the State's revenues and fund availability and to report and update the estimates to the Governor and General Assembly. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>State Debt Impact Note (Economic and Fiscal Commission)</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>SB 1758 would have no fiscal impact on the Economic and Fiscal Commission.  In addition, the bill would not affect State revenues or expenditures. </SynopsisText></synopsis>
