<reference>820 ILCS 305/11</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 48, par. 138.11</aliasreference><reference>820 ILCS 310/1</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 48, par. 172.36</aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Workers' Compensation Act and the Workers' Occupational Diseases Act. Provides that any injury to or disease or death of any person who has voluntarily received a smallpox vaccination and who either is designated as a "first responder" for the purpose of emergency response in the event of an attack using weapons of mass destruction, or is a member of an Illinois Medical Emergency Response Team, or is a member of a State Weapons of Mass Destruction Team is deemed to arise out of and in the course of employment. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
