<reference>105 ILCS 5/27-3</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 122, par. 27-3</aliasreference><reference>30 ILCS 805/8.27 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the School Code. In a provision requiring students to pass an examination concerning American patriotism and the principles of representative government, provides that the examination must cover material presented in the most recent version of the Constitution Study Guide produced by the State Board of Education and must conform to the relevant knowledge and skills outlined in the Illinois Learning Standards. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective July 1, 2003.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
