Provides that the alternative annuity that is available to certain county officers is available to members of a board of commissioners of a forest preserve district who are elected to serve on a forest preserve district that is located in a county having a population of more than 800,000 but fewer than 3,000,000 inhabitants. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately.Pension Note (Pension Laws Commission) The fiscal impact cannot be determined. For forest preserve districts with an elected board of commissioners, there would be a fiscal impact, as the required employee contributions only pay a portion of the cost of the optional benefits.
