<reference>40 ILCS 5/7-145.1</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>30 ILCS 805/8.27 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Provides that the alternative annuity that is available to certain county officers is available to members of a board of commissioners of a forest preserve district who are elected to serve on a forest preserve district that is located in a county having a population of more than 800,000 but fewer than 3,000,000 inhabitants. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>Pension Note (Pension Laws Commission)</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>The fiscal impact cannot be determined. For forest preserve districts with an elected board of commissioners, there would be a fiscal impact, as the required employee contributions only pay a portion of the cost of the optional benefits. SB 1119 would not affect the annual costs of accrued liabilities of any current IMRF employer.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
