<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>305 ILCS 5/4-23 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that, subject to appropriations, the Department of Human Services shall provide up to 12 months of transitional transportation assistance to former recipients of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families if the former recipients are no longer eligible for assistance due to an increase in earned income in the household. Provides that this provision shall not be construed to create an entitlement to transitional transportation assistance. Effective January 1, 2004.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
