Amends the Hospital Licensing Act. Provides that a hospital must report to the trauma registry any accident in which a person under the age of 18 years was injured that involved a motor vehicle or the power window of a motor vehicle. Amends the Vital Records Act. Provides that, if the decedent was under the age of 18 years at the time of his or her death, and the death was due to injuries suffered as a result of a motor vehicle backing over a child, or if the death occurred due to the power window of a motor vehicle, the attending physician or the coroner must send a copy of the medical or death certificate to the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
