<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>New Act</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>20 ILCS 3918/37 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Creates the Residential Building Code Act. Adopts the International Residential Code for One and Two Family Dwellings, published by the International Code Council, and makes it applicable to every area of this State that is not otherwise subject to a building code adopted by a county or municipality. Provides for administration of the Act by the Office of Banks and Real Estate. Provides that the Illinois Building Commission shall advise the Office of Banks and Real Estate in administering the Act, and amends the Illinois Building Commission Act to make a conforming change. Effective January 1, 2004.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
