Requires the Department of Professional Regulation to suspend the license of a physician who has not paid restitution to the insurer or self-insured entity, or any other person for any financial loss sustained as a result of insurance fraud committed by the physician, including any court costs and attorney fees. Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Requires a person convicted of insurance fraud to pay monetary restitution to the insurer or self-insured entity, or any other person for any financial loss sustained as a result of the violation. Provides that an order of restitution shall also include expenses incurred and paid by an insurer in connection with any medical evaluation or treatment services.
