<reference>15 ILCS 205/4</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 14, par. 4</aliasreference><reference>735 ILCS 5/8-802.3 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Attorney General Act. Requires the Attorney General to certify Crime Stoppers organizations. Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Provides that a person may not disclose, by way of testimony or any other means, information disclosing the identity of a person who reports criminal activity to a Crime Stoppers organization certified by the Illinois Attorney General. Provides that the person may not be required to produce, under subpoena, any records, documentary evidence, opinions, or decisions relating to that information (i) in connection with any criminal case, any criminal proceeding, or any administrative hearing of whatever nature, or (ii) by way of any discovery procedure. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
