<reference>305 ILCS 5/5-5.12b new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the medical assistance Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that a pharmacy may not charge a Medicare beneficiary more than the Medicaid reimbursement rate for prescription medications, plus an additional dispensing fee. Requires the Department of Public Aid to monitor pharmacies' compliance and to report to the General Assembly. Repeals these provisions on January 1, 2006. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
