<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>625 ILCS 5/3-412</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 3-412</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Requires the Secretary of State to provide that registration plates issued to persons with 3 or more convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating compounds are of a bright color that is distinct from the color of any plates that may be issued to a person who has not been convicted of DUI 3 times. Provides that the choice of a bright, distinct color is at the Secretary's discretion. Provides that the Secretary shall adopt rules for implementing the new provision.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
