Provides that, at the same time as the taxpayer files it's annual Illinois income tax return, the taxpayer must disclose the aggregate dollar amount of manufacturing and assembling machinery and equipment tax exemptions received under these Acts during the most recently completed calendar year, broken down by plant and by facility. Provides that, if a plant or facility with respect to which a taxpayer received such manufacturing and assembling machinery and equipment exemptions closes, the taxpayer must pay to the Department all amounts that were not not paid in taxes under these Acts due to the exemption, for the 5-year period immediately preceding the plant or facility closure. 2/9/2004HouseFiled with the Clerk by Rep.
