<reference>70 ILCS 2405/3b new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Sanitary District Act of 1917. Provides that, notwithstanding any provision of the Sanitary District Act of 1917 to the contrary, of the 5 member board of trustees of the Springfield Metro Sanitary District, 3 members shall be appointed by the Mayor of the City of Springfield and 2 members shall be appointed by the presiding officer of the Sangamon County Board. Provides that the first 3 vacancies existing on or occurring on or after the effective date of the amendatory Act shall be filled by the Mayor of the City of Springfield.
