Provides that the Secretary of State must require a driver who was involved in an accident that caused injury or death to a pedestrian to retake the examination required for issuance of a driver's license. A person's refusal to submit to or failure to successfully complete the examination is grounds for suspension or cancellation of the person's license or permit.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>Provides that the driver is required to retake the examination only if he or she has been determined to have been at fault in the accident, as evidenced by the issuance of a Uniform Traffic Citation.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>Pension Note (Economic and Fiscal Commission)</synopsistitle>
