<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>New Act</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Creates the Public Health Advocates Act. Creates the Public Health Advocates, a nonprofit membership corporation. Provides that the Public Health Advocates shall effectively represent and protect the interests of individual health care consumers in the State. Provides that the Public Health Advocates shall have the right to participate in a regulatory agency proceeding, unless the regulatory agency reasonably determines that the proceeding will not affect the interests of individual health care consumers of the State or does not relate to any public health issues. Establishes a Board of Directors to manage the affairs of the Public Health Advocates. Establishes the election and annual meeting procedures for the directors. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
