<reference>625 ILCS 5/11-1427.5 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>730 ILCS 5/5-5-3</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 38, par. 1005-5-3</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code and the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that a person who intentionally damages agricultural crops on private property while operating a motor vehicle is guilty of: a Class A misdemeanor if the damage does not exceed $300; a Class 4 felony if the damage exceeds $300 but does not exceed $10,000; a Class 3 felony if the damage exceeds $10,000 but does not exceed $100,000; or a Class 2 felony if the damage exceeds $100,000. Provides that, in addition to any other penalty that may be imposed, the person's driving privileges shall be suspended for 6 months. Provides that, if the person held an instruction permit for a minor at the time of the offense, the person's instruction permit shall be revoked. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
