Provides that all State Policemen, regardless of rank, shall receive a longevity increment at the start of their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6 1/2, 8th, 10th, 12 1/2, 15th, 17 1/2, 20th, 22 1/2, and 25th years of service with the Illinois State Police amounting to approximately 5% of a trooper's salary for the year preceding that service anniversary (now, increments received at 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, and 25th anniversaries). Provides for a differential increase in salary between the ranks of State Policemen in each longevity step. Provides a formula for the accrual of vacation time. Amends the Pension Code. Provides that the State shall make the same percentage of contributions to the State Employees' Retirement System of Illinois for all State Policemen, regardless of rank.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
