<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>New Act</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Creates the Illinois Ex-Offenders Employment Stabilization Act. Provides that the Department of Employment Security shall establish a grant program titled the Illinois Ex-Offenders Employment Stabilization Program. The program applies to local governments where the number of residents under State community correctional supervision is 10, 000 or more and with a recidivism rate of 25% or more. Provides that the Governor shall appoint an Ex-Offenders Employment Stabilization Program Advisory Board, which shall prepare and recommend rules for the program, determine criteria and procedures for grant awards, review grant applications, and make recommendations to the Department concerning grant awards. Provides requirements for grant proposals. Provides that funds may be appropriated to the Department to pay its costs of administering the program. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
