Provides that if a person who has been committed to the Department of Corrections has been ordered by a court of competent jurisdiction or an administrative tribunal to make periodic payments of child support, the Department shall take appropriate steps to encourage the committed person to make those payments as they become due and to satisfy any outstanding child support arrearage.
