<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>325 ILCS 5/4</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 23, par. 2054</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act. Provides that in the case of reports of suspected child abuse or neglect made by a person other than a mandated reporter, to ensure that the investigation of a report is complete and accurate, and to prevent the filing of false reports, DCFS shall request and obtain information that identifies the person making the report. Provides that this identifying information shall be confidential, unless DCFS determines that the report is false and refers the person filing the report to the State's Attorney for prosecution for filing a false report.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
