<reference>305 ILCS 5/5-2</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 23, par. 5-2</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. In provisions authorizing Medicaid for persons who are disabled and employed, provides that the Department of Public Aid must authorize Medicaid eligibility for persons whose income is less than or equal to 400% of the federal poverty guidelines. Provides that the Department may authorize eligibility for persons whose income is greater than 400% of those poverty guidelines. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
