<reference>10 ILCS 5/9-10</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 46, par. 9-10</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Election Code. Provides that a political committee that files its campaign finance reports with the State Board of Elections electronically is not required to file duplicate reports with a county clerk if the county clerk can access and duplicate reports filed with the State Board of Elections. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>

Amends the Election Code. Requires the State Board of Elections to permit electronic filing of statements of organization of political committees required to be filed with the Board. Provides that State and local political committees that file those statements electronically with the Board do not have to file them with the relevant county clerks if the county clerks have access to the Board's electronically filed statements.
