<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>625 ILCS 5/11-1010</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-1010</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a pedestrian may not walk or be on a highway if he or she is under the influence of any intoxicating compound (as well as if he or she is under the influence of alcohol or any drug) or any combination of alcohol, drug, or intoxicating compound to a degree which renders himself or herself a hazard. Provides that a violation is a Class C misdemeanor. Provides that a person commits a Class A misdemeanor if his or her violation of the provision is a proximate cause of an accident resulting in great bodily injury or death to another person.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
